Karachi: A major development has emerged in the investigation into the mysterious death of Mir Raza. According to investigative sources, the preliminary medical report indicates that he sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. However, investigators are also examining whether the bullet may have entered from behind.

Sources said the initial investigation suggests that Mir Raza had taken a security guard's firearm before the incident. His body was reportedly discovered after a nearby nursery owner alerted the authorities.

Investigators have also learned that suspicious motorcyclists were seen near the location where the body was found, and this aspect is also being examined.

According to the investigation, Mir Raza left home carrying only Rs1,000, while leaving behind his smartwatch, wallet, and car. Sources further claimed that he was under financial stress and owed between Rs50 million and Rs80 million due to business losses.

Officials said that neither the weapon nor the spent bullet casing has been recovered so far. Statements from more than 15 individuals have been recorded as part of the investigation.

The medical report is expected to be finalized today, while the mobile phone forensic report is likely to be received within the next one to two days. Authorities have not yet reached any final conclusion regarding the cause or manner of death.
