Another series of explosions occurred in a gas pipeline near sewage drains in the Anwar Villas area of Sheedi Goth, Qasimabad, Hyderabad, triggering panic among residents.
According to eyewitnesses, explosions were heard at three different locations, accompanied by sparks. The incident caused panic in the area, with shopkeepers abandoning their shops and fleeing to safer locations.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
CCTV footage of the explosions has also gone viral on social media, showing the alarming situation caused by the blasts.
It is worth mentioning that the gas pipeline of Sui Southern Gas Company in the sewage system in the same area has previously ruptured in explosions on two occasions. Several people were injured in those incidents, while the blasts also caused extensive damage to several kilometres of road.
The latest explosions have also caused significant damage, while the full extent of the losses is yet to be determined by the relevant authorities.
