According to railway officials, the departure of the Jaffar Express from Quetta to Peshawar has been cancelled due to repair work on the railway track.
Officials said the Jaffar Express would not depart for Peshawar on September 5 and 6, while today’s train coming from Peshawar has been restricted to Jacobabad.
The suspension and restriction of train services have caused difficulties for passengers travelling to and from Quetta.
It is worth mentioning that the Bolan Mail service from Balochistan to Karachi and the Chaman Passenger service to Chaman have already remained suspended for six months each.
