Islamabad: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with Pakistan's Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir to discuss the latest regional developments.
According to Iran's state news agency, the two leaders exchanged views on the evolving security situation in the region. As part of his diplomatic outreach, Araghchi also held separate phone calls with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Türkiye to discuss regional affairs.
During the conversations, the Iranian foreign minister urged the United States to refrain from any military adventurism. He warned that any aggression by the United States or Israel would receive a decisive response.
Araghchi further stated that if any regional countries were to participate in such aggression, Iran would respond firmly. The series of high-level diplomatic contacts comes amid heightened tensions across the region.
