Karachi: Lawyers staged a protest at the City Court over the non-arrest of suspects in the young trader Mir Raza murder case. On the occasion, the victim’s father, Mir Hussain, raised serious questions over the Sindh government and police investigation.
Mir Hussain alleged that tampering is visible in the investigation of the case by the Sindh government, and that Dr. Osama was reportedly removed so that he could not answer questions related to the case.
The victim’s father said, “Under whose pressure was the post-mortem report prepared solely on the basis of photographs?” He also expressed concerns over the investigation process.
Mir Hussain further stated that the police incompetence in my son’s murder case is now evident to everyone, while the continued failure to arrest the suspects is also alarming.
He demanded that the Mir Raza murder case be investigated transparently and that the responsible suspects be arrested immediately and brought before the law.
